If you do not want your image used, please advise us via writing. Utilising the contact details provided to Ageing Australia from time to time, Learning and Professional Development will send out information on upcoming training opportunities in a direct electronic message. If you do not wish to receive this information and prefer to ‘opt out’ – email training@ageingaustralia.asn.au and we will remove you from our ‘waiting lists’ and ‘email communications’ database. Cancellations, Refunds, Substitutions and Transfers: Ageing Australia’s Learning and Professional Development (L&PD) products are delivered subject to sufficient registrations, as stipulated by available tickets against each event, and tickets can be purchased directly from the What’s On page. Training session viability of each advertised session is assessed one week prior to the scheduled date of delivery, when a decision is made regarding continuation or cancellation. When a training session is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or circumstances outside of the control of Ageing Australia, a full refund will be paid, directly to the customer who has made the initial purchase. A full refund is also available if a participant withdraws from a training session, 5 or more days prior to the session being delivered, on the condition, that the customer has contacted training@agegingaustralia.asn.au, to inform regarding their intention to withdraw. No refunds or transfers will be considered without notification prior to the commencement of a training session. Late notifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An organisation may choose to substitute a participant of a previously paid session, by emailing training@ageingaustralia.asn.au, 24 hours prior to the commencement of the training session. Full details of the substituted participant must be provided. Payment Terms It is a condition of registration that participants pay full payment at the time of booking via credit card or by invoicing by prior arrangement. On some occasions full payment is to be received within 5 days of receipt of the tax invoice or 10 business days prior to the commencement of the training session or event, whichever occurs first. All payments must be finalised prior to commencement. Registrants who have outstanding payments will not be able to participate. Upon registration, a Tax Invoice will be emailed to the person making the booking. Prices All training session prices promoted on the Training Calendar, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of GST and cover training expenses, all course materials and catering (where applicable with face-to-face delivery). When registering multiple participants, an individual email address is required for each participant to ensure the registration is processed correctly. Ageing Australia members receive a discounted rate. To explore the additional benefits of an Ageing Australia membership please contact members@agegingaustralia.asn.au Certificates A Certificate of Participation is available by emailing training@ageingaustralia.asn.au. The certificate(s) will then be forwarded to the person requesting them, for example: a HR employee of an organisation who has registered multiple employees in a training session or an individual participant. Training Session Amendments Although every effort will be made to maintain training session information as represented, Ageing Australia reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the program information, including cancellation when required. Survey & Statistical Collection Survey collection will occur both during and post training session delivery, using a variety of methods. Comments collected via these surveys assist Ageing Australia to engage in a continuous improvement approach and are used for testimonial statements. If you do not wish to provide testimonial statements and prefer to ‘opt out, please indicate your preferences within the survey document. Definitions Training product is any training session, webinar and/or information session that is available on the Training Calendar and/or the LMS. These products are primarily commercial products however on occasion, Ageing Australia will offer training products free or at a reduced rate to reflect funding from either state and territory governments or the Australian Government. Review All Ageing Australia policies may be reviewed from time to time, and subsequently amended, to reflect changes to policy, procedure or State or Federal Legislation.

A confirmation email with a Tax invoice/receipt will be emailed to you once payment has been completed. When completing payment please ensure you don't close the screen while it is being submitted - you will be re directed back to this page where you need to click submit for your registration to be confirmed.
